This is pure paradise! The house is so stylish, you just can’t stop looking at every detail! The design is made professionally, house is comfortable and equipped with everything you can only imagine. I rented the house for my birthday with my friends. We had a very interesting program in Balaton area, but suddenly found ourselves completely happy just spending time in Manduláskert. We've been waiting for this kind of accommodation in the Balaton area for years! From the very first contact with the owner Dóra and her husband I knew we're at the right place. For a little family celebration I was looking for the right venue and found it at Manduláskert. The three big houses are beautiful designed and offered lots of space for family and friends. We rented the whole space so can speak for every house and garden. The garden areas are done with so much love and an eye for detail. We made friends with the cats who occasionally stroll through the gardens and had the best good fairy with the housekeeper Mónika. You'll definitely need a car to move around and explore the area as well as getting to Balaton lake. Fantasztikus szálláshely, kiemelkedően ízléses, minden részletre figyeltek. Nagyvonalú, átgondolt terek bent és kint. A ház kényelmes és otthonos egyben. Családunk négy generációja töltött itt egy hosszú hétvégét. Mindenki nagyon jól érezte magát az 1 évestől a 80 évesig. A szauna hangulatos, a medence panorámája is tökéletes. Unser Aufenthalt bei Dora war rundum perfekt. Es stehen in der Unterkunft mehrere Häuser zur Verfügung. Wir waren im Haus „kemencés ház“ und schon beim Ankommen fühlten wir uns rundum wohl. Hier stimmt design- und einrichtungstechnisch jedes Detail, es gibt in der Küche alles was man braucht und die Bettwäsche duftet so wunderbar, dass man nach dem aufstehen selbst wie frisch gewaschen riecht. Besonders den schönen Mandelgarten mit dem Pool haben wir sehr genossen und viel genutzt. Aus dem Pool hat man einen tollen Blick auf die Weinberge und den Balaton. Diese Unterkunft ist eine Bereicherung für den Tourismus in Ungarn, an dem sich andere Unterkünfte wirklich ein Beispiel nehmen könnten. Dora hat uns auch mit tollen kulinarischen- und Ausflugs-Tipps versorgt. Die Haushälterin Monika hat uns überaus freundlich empfangen und stand uns bei Rückfragen jeglicher Art immer zur Verfügung. Ihr entgeht wirklich kein Staubkorn, die Unterkunft ist picobello sauber, man fühlt sich wie der erste Gast. In Summe daher 5 Sterne und ein riesengroßes DANKE. Für alle die etwas fernab vom Schuss Erholung suchen genau das richtige.
Fußläufig ist der nächste Ort in knapp 25 Minuten zu erreichen. Dort gibt es einen kleinen Supermarkt für das Nötigste und ein Restaurant (welches wir jedoch nicht empfehlen würden). Daher müssen der See und andere Städte mit dem Auto oder mit dem Rad besichtigt werden.

This was a wonderful place to stay while enjoying the wine country of Hungary. It's luxurious, but at the same time retains the simple summer house feel. Plus it's large enough that families and multiple couples can stay together without tripping over each other. And the upstairs full apartment is a perfect way to be close to everyone else, while also having privacy. We were only there for 2 nights, but we can't wait to come back for a longer visit. We enjoyed the stay very much. The house is super clean and the hosts thought about everything. Eine gelungene Kombination traditioneller ungarischer Architektur mit modernen Annehmlichkeiten. Es gibt drei große Schlafzimmer, jedes hat ein eigenes Bad. Die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet, genau wie die großartige Outdoor-Küche mit Kaminofen, der sich zum Grillen und für Holzfeuer eignet. Die Fußbodenheizung in der Küche und den Bädern und die Heizkörper in den übrigen Zimmern machen den Aufenthalt auch in der kalten Jahreszeit angenehm. Doras Haus ist hervorragend und ruhig gelegen. Lediglich die Hunde in der Nachbarschaft bellen ab und an – das ist aber ganz normal in Ungarn. ;-) Die schönsten Ziele am Balaton sind von Doras Haus aus einfach zu erreichen – einige sogar als Wanderung.
Eine absolute Empfehlung für Menschen, die einen erholsamen Urlaub ohne Party in einem originalen ungarischen Dorf verbringen wollen. Sven, 2021 November Wooden Beam House

Immaculately clean, everything as described or better and there is a lot of subtle nuances and details in a huge house. We have been with a 4 month old baby and we had a comfortable night. The lady who showed us around was very helpful and friendly. Communication was great and the host recommended us great local food places. Just a great experience, with good style and attention to details where it matters. The village is quiet and close to Balaton, wineries and good food with a car. Absolutely recommended. Ez a hely még szebb mint a képeken. Télen mentünk, így volt egy pici aggodalmam a fűtés miatt, de az is tökéletesen megoldott a szálláshelyen. Nagyon kellemes légkör fogadott minket, egy kicsit a nagyszülői házban éreztem magam modern köntösben. Igazi nyugalom szigete. A konyha volt a kedvencem. Mindennel felszerelt hely.
